PREPARATION – Purification: Not this, not that. Release
what has no place in the ritual, including stray thoughts and concerns from
outside activities. INVOCATION of the Light – setting the vibration as desired. IDENTIFICATION – Evocation – for example, “I Am Osiris; I Am Source.
I let the energy of universal love fill me.” EXPRESSION – Energy Work. Actual shift in consciousness. CLOSING – Re-centering and balancing to re-emerge into the
outside world. Preparation This could involve physical purification such as fasting to
remove toxins, or merely a quiet centering, or a more active toning to raise
one’s vibration. I like to use essential oils to lift my energy level, and
then an angel card to provide me with a theme for the activity at hand. In the case of a service group such as Lightworkers to help
release souls in confusion, it is important to set the boundaries of the meeting
during this phase, that is, to spell out what you are willing to do and what is beyond your scope, to prevent feelings
of being overwhelmed later on in the meeting. This means calling on the overlighting or protecting energy
that you are working with during the ritual: the Christ, the Hathors, Osiris,
Eleggua, Ochún,
Buddha, or the Spirits of the Place, to name a few from my repertoire. The
invocation can be done silently but I often prefer to chant the name of the
entity three times, ending with the two syllable sound “Na-ah”. This is an
Egyptian sound signifying invocation. You should go up in pitch a half tone on
the final “ah”. In the case of an ongoing group that meets regularly, I
use this opportunity to call on the Spirit Guide that overlights (oversees) the
group, as well as any other Spirits of the Light who wish to assist. Identification This is the basis of
Egyptian-style ritual: “I am Osiris, I am Isis.” The participants allow
themselves to merge energetically with a relevant aspect of divinity. This is
not mere words – for a successful ritual it is necessary to really invite a
vibration larger than oneself, at least one’s own Soul. Then an identification
with non-physical reality takes place, which allows an instantaneous shift in
consciousness, with resulting changes in this reality, perhaps immediately,
perhaps gradually, according to the needs of all concerned. In the case of Lightworkers meetings to help souls into the
Light, during this stage the participants allow themselves to feel confused
energies for the purpose of healing them. So the identification is with
earthbound vibrations, not the Light. Therefore it is extremely important that
the group is consciously under the protection of Overseeing Spirits of the Light
(Source, God, Christ consciousness). Expression During this stage the
real work of the ritual gets accomplished. In the case of helping souls into the
Light, for example, during expression the souls are actually healed and
released. The participants should feel
a shift in consciousness as a change in body sensations, emotions or thoughts. Expression can also
entail actual physical movement; during this stage it can actually look as
though something is happening – dancing, chanting, voice channeling, clapping,
sending energy through the body either up the column of Light or down into the
earth – to name but a few possibilities. Closing This is a re-centering
process in which the participants take back into themselves the energy that has
been generated during the ritual to embody the shift in their daily lives. In
the case of Lightworkers rituals, the earthbound souls are sent away and one
centers oneself in one’s own energy field (aura). One communes with the
overlighting Spirit Guides and gains insights on how the healing work has been
relevant in one’s current life. A conscious symbol may
close the ritual – a clap, a group hug, a meditation to share the energy with
the planet, group intentions for earth healing. Or the participants may just be
still for a few minutes to feel the shift inside them.
